VEDANTA
KNOWLEDGE AFTER WHICH THERE IS NOTHING TO KNOW
Veda is Knowledge and the highest kind of knowledge, spiritual knowledge or Self-knowledge.
Anta means end, culmination or root. Vedanta is the philosophical nectar of Veda and Yoga Scriptures. Vedanta and Upanishads are synonyms for the energy that sustains Yoga, the intuition that is Yoga, and the source of the spiritual wisdom of the soul, known as Amrit, the Nectar of Immortality. Vedanta is the basis and goal of all spiritual practices. Amidst a dense forest of impurities, distractions and ignorance – Roar the Truth like the Lion of Vedanta!

BHAGAVAD GITA
CELESTIAL SONG OF YOGA
The Bhagavad Gita is the backbone scripture of Yoga, wherein Krishna expounds Yoga to Arjuna in a conversational discourse between the forces of darkness [ignorance] and that of light [knowledge]. If one were to take up just one single text over one's life – for a Yogi – it is the Bhagavad Gita. The Gita is the entirety of Yoga Vedanta in 700 verses and 18 discourses. The Gita is meant to be grasped by any human being. Gandhiji's humble and simple translation and Gurudev's direct and profound insight makes the message of the Gita clearer and more easily understood for all minds and all levels of spiritual aspirants. The first recommendation is for beginners who must learn the terms, context and supporting scriptural resources, whereas the second is for the advanced who do not require the explanations and intellectual details. The Bhagavad Gita can be your bedtime story, your path to intuition or it can be your manual for enlightenment. Both these, the means and end of Yoga, are one and the same, and they are expounded in the Srimad Bhagavad Gita.
Beginner Recommendation: Gospel of Selfless Action
Advanced Recommendation: Srimad Bhagavad Gita
UPANISHADS
SOURCE OF KNOWLEDGE
The Upanishads are the philosophical nectar of the Veda and contain the immortal wisdom of Yoga. The Upanishads are also records of intensive question-and-answer sessions given by the Rishis, Illumined Sages and Seers. The Upanishads are beautifully imaginative and enlightening poetry, sophisticated meditations and deeply spiritual scriptural revelations of the highest order. They compose the central concepts of all Indian spirituality, Veda and Yoga. The Upanishads are the scientific, mystical and spiritual foundation in which all spirituality and religions unite. The Upanishads lead you to the original experience of Yoga. In the first and shorter translation of the twelve major Upanishads by Swami Prabhavananda. Gurudev has selected four principle Upanishads which are the most essential and integral to all seeking wisdom. Both recommendations have rendered the scriptures most enjoyable and approachable for all practitioners.
Beginner Recommendation: Upanishads - Breath from the Eternal
Advanced Recommendation: Wisdom of the Upanishads

AYURVEDA
ANCIENT MEDICINE & SURGERY
Ayurveda is the sacred knowledge of life that brings about total health solutions by harmonizing the mind, body and soul with the world. Ayurveda is not merely a system of medicine; it is the mantra for healthy living that has, for thousands of years, identified and classified the healing power of nature and teaches to live in harmony with it to attain the state of perfect health. If total rejuvenation is what you are looking for, Ayurveda is the only system of medicine which integrates the proven methods of purifying the body, pacifying the mind and perceiving the soul with the most natural and safest methods and treatments. It not only cures illnesses but also effectively prevents their onset. Rather than treating the symptoms of disease, Ayurveda cures all the underlying causes of diseases.
When determining the duration of Ayurvedic treatments, various factors like age, gender, severity of the disease, degree of imbalance and the affected organs. While conventional medicine, known as allopathy, tends to concentrate only on remedying the part of the body to be treated, Ayurveda holistically attends to the whole human being and cures the intrinsic basis of the disease to provide permanent solutions without the adverse side effects caused by allopathic treatment. Patients are subjected to a careful assessment by the Practitioner while undergoing a precise treatment regimen based on the principles of Ayurveda. In addition to remarkable growth, stability and recovery, those who have experienced self-therapy are delighted by the practical applications of all that Ayurveda has to offer.
